Refund & Return Policy

Diningprint produces custom-printed disposable cutlery, chopsticks, napkins, and packaging tailored to each customer's artwork and specifications. This policy explains how refunds and replacements work.

In shortCustom-printed goods are non-refundable once production begins. We will replace or refund any order that arrives defective, damaged, or materially different from the approved mockup.

1. Custom orders are non-refundable

Because every product is printed or laser-engraved to your specific artwork, we cannot resell the goods once production has started. By approving the digital mockup, you confirm the artwork, quantity, and specifications, and agree that the order is non-cancellable and non-refundable from that point forward.

2. Order changes before production

You may cancel or change an order at no cost before you approve the production mockup. If a deposit has been paid, it will be refunded in full to the original payment method, less any third-party fees (e.g., wire transfer charges) that have already been incurred.

3. Defective, damaged, or wrong goods

We replace or refund (at our discretion) any goods that are:

  • Defective in material or workmanship,
  • Damaged in transit when shipped on our chosen carrier,
  • Materially different from the approved mockup (e.g., wrong logo, wrong color), or
  • Short-shipped beyond the ±5% industry tolerance.

Time limit. Claims must be submitted within 7 calendar days of receiving the goods. Claims received later cannot be processed.

Evidence required. Email hello@diningprint.com with:

  • Order number,
  • Photos or short video clearly showing the issue,
  • For shipping damage: photos of the outer packaging.

4. Print and product tolerances

Custom wood and paper products have natural variation. The following are not grounds for refund:

  • Minor color shifts within ±5% of the approved digital mockup,
  • Print position variation within ±3 mm,
  • Order quantity variation within ±5% (over or under),
  • Natural wood grain, knots, or surface texture differences between pieces,
  • Subtle finish differences between production batches.

We recommend ordering a paid sample or production proof before placing large bulk orders so you can confirm the finish.

5. Samples and proofs

Sample kits and pre-production proofs are billed separately and are non-refundable. The cost of a sample or proof may be credited toward a subsequent bulk order if placed within 60 days, subject to our written confirmation.

6. Shipping costs

Shipping costs are non-refundable except where the shipment is fully rejected for defect or wrong-product reasons. Where a replacement is shipped, we cover the standard freight cost on the replacement only.

7. Refund method and timing

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method:

  • Stripe / PayPal: 5–10 business days back to your card or account.
  • Wire transfer (TT): 5–15 business days back to the originating bank account.

You may also choose to receive store credit toward a future order, valid for 12 months.

8. Returns

Customers do not typically return goods to us. For defective or wrong shipments, we generally do not require the goods to be returned — recycling or disposing of them locally is usually more practical. If a return is required, we will arrange and pay for the return shipment.
